Solution

  • The object that completely sinks has more density than the water. So, C has the highest density among the three objects.

  • A and B are floating, so their density is lower than water. Among A and B, a larger fraction of A is immersed in water when compared to B. So, A has a higher density than B.

  • So, arranging the bodies in the decreasing order of densities, we get the following order : B < A < C
